It's looking like we won't be going on a vacation this summer. I'm a homebody so that's okay with me but we still wanted to do some extra things as a family.
Jeremy took the 4 to buy some fireworks on Father's Day. His plan is to spread out the bangs over the summer. The kids were estatic.
One afternoon afte naps, we took he kiddos bowling using the kids bowl free pass. Our local alley has $2 Wednesday so shoe rental and adult games were only $2.
The kids had a blast but started losing interested before the first game was over. We got a refund for the cost of mine and Jeremy's second game.
We went in the middle of the afternoon but they already had the lights off, black lights on, and music blaring. The good news was that it was so loud we couldn't understand any of the words of the songs.
One day after going to Jeremy's grandmother's to swim, we went a local BBQ place owned by the daughter of my mom's best friend of 35 years. We ate too much and drank too much sweet tea and had a great time outside under the tree.
Jeremy recruited all 4 littles to fix lunch while I went for my (early) 6 week check up.
One day during daddy's lunch break we walked to the local Mexican restaurant for $.75 tacos and cheese dip. Yum.
On another afternoon we packed a picnic and we went to local lake for some fishing. All they caught was seaweed.
But they had a great time running around and being silly.
And last but not least, we went out to mellow mushroom for some of our favorite pizza. Big family fun.
