Our children have never been to a birthday party that wasn't either one of their own, one of their siblings, or a cousin.
We've never invited friends to their parties either. It's just our immediate family and my parents at our house. Just this past year we have started celebrating monthly birthdays at Jeremy's parents too.
Our dear friends invited the older 3 children over to celebrate their youngest child's 10th birthday. 10 years is a big year in their household.
The children, of course, had a great time.
Cake, water balloons, water guns, swings....who wouldn't have fun. : )
