Eva is now 4 months. She weighs about 15 pounds. She nurses every 2 to 3 hours and has been having a really rough few weeks. She no longer naps or rests well at night. Some days she naps for less than 2 hours the whole day, often starting her day at 5 or 6 and not going to bed until 8. I'm guessing teething due to the constant nawing on her fingers, clothes, and blankets and the constant drool. She's still pretty happy as long as you aren't trying to get her sleep. During the night she's waking up about every 2 hours or so and I've resorted to keeping her in the bed with me and constantly patting her during the night to try to help her sleep. I'm tired, very tired. : ) I do miss those months where I could put her in the crib wide awake and she would peacefully go to sleep. Sigh. Now the swing nor bouncy works. I pray this (long) "phase" will pass soon. She loves her Bumbo and being carried facing outwards in the Sleepy Wrap. She hates facing inwards and she hates the Ergo. She's at a such a fun interactive stage. I just love having a precious baby around the house.
