So I braved the mess today. Embraced the chaos and we decorated gingerbread houses. Originally I planned to use Graham crackers and icing, I even had it all in my buggy. Then I passed the prefabricated ones and for $8 (for 5) I was sold. Up DoD buy some extra $1 candy boxes to add to the assortment. Send it was a good thing. My kiddos were heavy decoraters. By the end, Zion had a major sugar rush and I was pretty sick too. Katie wasn't interested in decorating, just eating what I put on her house. And Maggie was totally in her element. Her house has a chimney with smoke.
