6 months of Eva

Eva turned 6 months old on the 12th. And even though these pictures show lots of smiles and sweet faces don't be fooled. : ) She's one complicated cookie. She is very easy to make happy but not good at sleeping, day or night. Just for my record, she sleeps in the bed with me and most often on my arm snuggled up close. She nurses A LOT, sometimes every 2 hours, day and night. By baby #5 you would think I would have a better plan but I don't. I've tried the crying approach but she is one of those babies that escalates into a frenzy instead of a state of sleep. But, like I said she's easy to make happy but you have to make her happy since she's usually sleep deprived. Of course she loves to be carried around to the point that I have "baby" wrist on my left arm from keeping my arm around her on my hip and curving my wrist in. (I made up that name by the way).

No teeth yet. She's started eating solids in the last couple of weeks but she's not really interested in anything but (store bought baby) bananas and sweet potatoes. I'm working on taking a sippy cup. No success yet. : )

She's getting better at sitting up but still falls over a lot. I had her pull up to standing from my lap the other day. I was sitting with her in the floor organizing a cabinet and she grabbed hold of the drawer and stood up. She fell over (I caught her) and proceed to do it again. She's gotten better about sleeping in the carseat but she usually wakes up when we stop. That's about it. Eva at 6 months report done.
